A company that wants to be listed on the Big Board has to put up some Big Bucks. A first-time issue of a class of common shares is subject to a charge of $0.0032 per share, plus a hefty $50,000 one-time special charge. Including the special charge, the minimum listing fee is $125,000 and the maximum is $250,000.
