I was actually studying using a different book and I wasn't getting enough info. The Test Simulator was key. It threw the questions at me in a different way which was similar to the actual test. I took and passed my Series 63 this past weekend. I found the Solomon materials instrumental in getting to a pass on the first time. While the manual was good, what really assisted me were the practice exams that were nearly identical to what the actual test questions were.
The materials were easy to use and comprehensive. A worthwhile investment.

In preparation for the Series 7, I began with Kaplan. I tested and did not pass. I then switched to STC materials. I tested and did not pass. I then switched to Solomon and passed! I also used Solomon for the 63 and passed the first time.
I highly recommend Solomon's test preparation materials. The question bank was far more extensive than the others and I definitely felt better prepared using Solomon.
